Now in its sixth year, the Festival of Food & Drink’s Cookery Theatre has hosted some of the biggest names in the industry including TV favourites and world renowned chefs, some with too many Michelin stars to count!
Our previous guests including Rosemary Shrager, John Burton Race, the Fabulous Baker Brothers, This Morning’s Phil Vickery, Masterchef’s John Torode and Lisa Faulkner and Great British Bake Off judge Paul Hollywood, winners John Waite and Ed Kimber, and numerous finalists.
The 2018 Cookery Theatre line up of chefs is just as impressive with another fantastic line-up of chefs bringing amazing menus to life in their demonstrations. Once you have bought your ticket to get into the Festival of Food & Drink, it’s FREE to get into the Cookery Theatre to see any of our guests!

More guests will be announced over the coming weeks, followed by the Cookery Theatre timetable, a menu of dishes being demonstrated and the recipes from the chef’s themselves.

TV Chef Chris Bavin will be appearing in the Festival of Food & Drink Cookery Theatre on Saturday 15th September, sharing his skills and demonstrating cost effective dishes which are delicious, easy to make and healthy at the same time.
Chris said: “I can’t wait to head to Clumber Park as part of the Festival of Food & Drink. I’m looking forward to meeting all the producers as well as joining Dan in the Cookery Theatre.”
Dan Doherty is best known as Chef Director at London’s prestigious Duck & Waffle restaurant , located on the 40th floor of Heron Tower – one of the country’s tallest skyscrapers. Dan will appear in the Cookery Theatre on Saturday 15th September
“I’m delighted to be joining Festival of Food & Drink at Clumber Park and look forward to tasting what delights the region has on offer,” said Dan.
Dan is a judge alongside Mary Berry and Chris Bavin on the BBC’s latest cookery programme, Britain’s Best Home Cook . He is known for his innovative, playful and indulgent cooking style, with a number of awards and accolades under his belt as well as two cookery books.
MasterChef winner Jane Devonshire is the latest celebrity chef to be added to the menu for this year’s Festival of Food and Drink. She will be joining us on Sunday 16th September.
Since winning MasterChef in 2016, Jane has taken the bull by the food horns and tested herself further by working with a number of amazing chefs including Marcus Wareing , Atul Kochhar , Jason Atherton , Michel Roux and Michael O’Hare at their restaurants.
Her cooking demonstrations have taken her from Edinburgh to Brighton, in the course of which she has developed a love for presenting her recipes and chatting to people about food.
Appearing on numerous TV and radio programmes including BBC Breakfast, Loose Women, South Today and Woman’s Hour, Jane’s first cookbook, Hassle Free, Gluten Free is published in September 2018, just in time for when she debuts at the Festival on Sunday 16th September.
British actress and Lorraine show cook Gaynor Faye will be showing off her culinary skills at this year’s Festival of Food and Drink at Clumber Park, held 16/17 September, in her food festival debut.
Best known for her roles on ITV soaps Coronation Street and Emmerdale, Gaynor has recently been sharing her love of home cooking by appearing in the kitchen on Lorraine, cooking traditional Yorkshire recipes.
Born and bred in Leeds, Gaynor is a proper Yorkshire lass which is reflected in her cooking. Her favourite recipes include Roasted Barnsley Chops, Yorkshire Tea-marisu, Whitby Crab Risotto, and Rhubarb and Custard Crème Brulee.
Teresa Bovey is a professional Home Economist based in Nottinghamshire. She gives Cookery Demonstrations at several of the Regional Food Festivals and has also provided back up to celebrity chefs when they appear on stage for many years. She develops recipes and writes for various publications and has guest presented on Carlton Food TV, the BBC, QVC shopping channel and Slimming World TV. She also runs cookery demonstrations with lunch classes from her home in Lowdham, Nottingham.
Andrea Wallace trained at Leiths School and Wine in London. She has a background in commercial catering to add real work experience. Andrea now teaches and gives demonstrations to both small and large audiences and really knows how to get the best out of your ingredients.
