FUN FOR THE KIDS

The Festival of Food and Drink is a fantastic day out for all the family with lots of activities and have-a-go sessions for the kids to get involved in!

Children can learn new baking skills with The School of Artisan Food in one of their many workshops, trying their hands at the likes of ice creaming, pizza and dough ball making. These sessions are offered for just £1 and can be booked on arrival, but plan your day as its ‘first come, first served’ and they fill quickly.

Away from the food, children can also enjoy make sand art, pottery making, or for those who like to be more active, why not jump around on the trampolines and other fun activities.

The team from the National Trust bring a great range of activities, creating a forest school for the youngsters to enjoy, and sharing the huge amount of things children can enjoy as part of its ‘50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾’ campaign such as building a den out of branches and twigs.

Take a look at what the kids got up to last year!
