FESTIVAL OF FOOD& DRINK
THORESBY PARK, NOTTINGHAMSHIRE
21st + 22nd September 2024
Now in its 11th Year festival of Food and Drink will take place on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd September at Thoresby Park Nottinghamshire. Set across the beautiful lawns in front of Thoresby Hall the festival will offer a range of fabulous traders and things to do.
The traders will have a delicious range of food, drink, gift, crafts, and homewares. We have some of the UK’s best Street food in a designated area with cocktails, hot drinks, bars and sweet treats too. Take a seat in this area and soak up the live music running throughout the day and the chilled DJ too.
Our Cookery Theatre will offer a selection of TV Chefs of the weekend, with schedules announced with timings close to the festival. This is included in your days ticket. There are 500 seats available , our guests Chef’s and cooks will be doing their live demonstrations with tips, ideas and lots of info too for what they are up to. An entertaining treat to enjoy as part of your day.
Next year we will have a roster of bookable sessions to add to your day. This year you could try your hand at Cocktail making, Wine Tasting or Coffee tasting sessions with our experts. Each session is limited tickets so you will have to book early to make sure you get yours in 2024.
This year each day Savage BBQ offered Fire BBQ Demonstrations, local Nottinghamshire experts the team have a range of fire cages. The team have built their business building a great range of equipment for home, hospitality and trade customers. They invite their great chefs to show off juts what their great kit can do!
For the kids we had Cookery Workshops, sessions were bookable on the day. We strongly advising getting over to the tent to book in early when you arrive at the festival next year, sessions fill up quickly. Places are allocated on a first come first served basis and cost just £2. The full list of session will be published in advance and will be listed in What’s On. Sessions will include activities like: – Cheese Making, Ice-cream Making, Pasta Making, butter making Gnocchi Making and more.
We are a family festival and have some free activities for kids including arts and crafts with ArtVenturers and Circus School where youngsters can try their hand at juggling and more. There are other paid activities including Bungee trampoline, carousal, Archery and Axe throwing and more.
A great day out with family or friends, tickets can be purchased in advance, with Family and children’s tickets available. Each day we have limited VIP tickets also available.
Parking is on-site at Thoresby Park and is Free to all Festival ticket holders. Blue Badge Parking will be sign posted on arrival.
Be prepared, living in the UK, the weather could offer up a mixture! Be prepared rain or shine to have a great day out. Located on the edge of Sherwood Forest we have limited signal, make sure you bring cash and cards to enjoy your day., There are no cash machines at the festival, be Prepared.
Well behaved Dogs are allowed, we ask that they are always kept on a lead. They will not be permitted in the Cookery Theatre, workshop or session space. We ask that owners clean up any of their mess and also considerate to all traders and visitors.
