Now in its 10th year, Festival of Food & Drink’s Cookery Theatre has hosted some of the biggest names including TV favourites, world renowned chefs and some with too many Michelin stars to count!

The first guest name to join the 2023 line-up is renowned British chef, TV presenter and food writer, Matt Tebbutt the current host of BBC’s Saturday Kitchen. Previous visitors will be excited to hear that Matt Pritchard, also known as The Dirty Vegan, will be returning in 2023, having proved himself as a huge hit with audiences in 2021. Also joining the 2023 Sunday line-up is baking extraordinaire and Great British Bake Off fan favourite, Sandro. Sandro is a passionate baker, with years of experience, who won the nation’s hearts in the 2022 series of the baking competition.

Once you have bought your ticket to get into Festival of Food and Drink, it’s FREE to get into the Cookery Theatre to see our guests!

Our Cookery Theatre Marquee has over 500 seats so make sure you grab yours so you don’t miss seeing our great name guests to get hints and tips for cooking up your own delicious dishes!

Bake Off Finalist

In 2022 we were delighted to have guests including Bake-Off Finalist Chigs Parmar. MasterChef Winner 2022 Eddie Scott and Author Rosemary Shrager, joined us on Saturday. Chef, TV Presenter and Author John Whaite, TV Chef & Author Chef Philli and MasterChef Finalist Pookie were with us on Sunday as well as the amazing TV Chef and Author Joe Hurd was with us for the whole weekend as our Cookery Theatre Host. Remember once you have bought your entry ticket to the festival you can see our guest line up in the Cookery Theatre as part of the entry price! No additional charges.

In 2021 we added Dirty Vegan Matt Pritchard, TV’s Joe Hurd, Bake Off’s Karen Wright and Jean Christophe Novelli to it’s growing roster of guests who have appeared at the festival.
