We just wanted to give you an update on plans for this year’s Festival of Food and Drink at Clumber Park.
Whilst we are living in uncertain times, we’re still hoping to go ahead with the festival as planned on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September 2020. We are monitoring government guidelines daily and will ensure that all aspects of planning adhere to guidance.
The safety of our visitors, traders and staff is of paramount importance so to make sure everyone remains safe, things may have to be organised a little differently. But don’t worry as we’re working hard to bring you all the elements of the Festival that we know you love.
As a small family run business, we’re facing the same difficulties as other companies and we’d like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to the 100+ food and drink traders that have already committed to support this year’s event and, like us, are raring to go!
We’re working hard within our team to look at how we make the traders more accessible so we can maintain social distancing whilst you shop and browse the delicious food and drink producers. We’re also looking at new ways of showcasing your favourite street food as well as how you can still enjoy seeing your favourite celebrity chefs.
Fingers crossed, we’ll all be (safely) enjoying the sunshine in Clumber Park in September. However, rest assured that should we have to postpone to 2021 due to the pandemic, all traders and visitors will have a choice of a full refund or moving to the revised dates.
More news will be announced over the coming weeks, but in the meantime, we’re supporting our traders by sharing some of their incredible promotions, products and articles on our social media channels. So many have been incredibly resourceful during these challenging and everchanging times.
We’re planning for Festival of Food and Drink this September – we really hope to see you there.
Stay safe
