This vibrant Festival of Food & Drink offers a range of fabulous street food and artisan food producers, award winning food and drink, special guest TV chefs, gorgeous gifts, crafts and homewares, delicious dishes and cuisine from around the world served by fantastic Street Food and pop-up cafes and bars!

Celebrity Chef Cookery Theatre
The first guest name to join the 2023 line-up is renowned British chef, TV presenter and food writer, Matt Tebbutt the current host of BBC’s Saturday Kitchen. Previous visitors will be excited to hear that Matt Pritchard, also known as The Dirty Vegan, will be returning in 2023, having proved himself as a huge hit with audiences in 2021. Also joining the 2023 Sunday line-up is baking extraordinaire and Great British Bake Off fan favourite, Sandro. Sandro is a passionate baker, with years of experience, who won the nation’s hearts in the 2022 series of the baking competition.
Cocktail Making Sessions
Learn the tips and tricks of cocktail making in this fun masterclass with Nottingham-based Rhubarbar Events.
Their expert mixologist will have you making, shaking and pouring, and of course tasting, your very own Cosmopolitan and Amaretto Sour. Pick up lots of techniques in mixing, muddling and mashing!
Coffee Tasting & Brewing Sessions
Cartwheel Coffee is an independent coffee roastery and set of cafes based in Nottingham. They have been sourcing and roasting ethical, high-quality coffee since 2016, with a big focus on flavour!
At this 45 minute workshop, take a deep dive into the journey of coffee, from farm to cup, and discover how this impacts the flavour of your brew. Experience how coffee from Ethiopia tastes different to coffee from Colombia, and drink all the coffee your heart desires!
Cookery School for Kids
We are delighted to announce Cookery School for Kids 2023 sessions can be booked on the day for just £2 – with places allocated on a first come, first served basis – make sure you arrive early and get booked in straight away. Children taking part must be 6 years or over.
Food & Drink Traders
Festival of Food and Drink boasts one of the biggest gatherings of quality food and drink retailers in the region. This year we had over 160, offering award winning food, drink, street-food, gift, craft, homewares, and treats. With a fantastic range available, the shopping choices are yours! See, try and buy!
Savage BBQ Demos
Returning in 2023! we are working with Savage BBQ; they are offering 3 demo’s a day in our new dedicated feature area at Festival of Food & Drink. There will be a display of their kit and some in use during their demo’s.
A Nottinghamshire business making and selling South American style Fire Cage BBQ’s for Restaurants, Homes, Hotels, Pubs & Caterers. For most of us, the draw of live fire cooking can’t be matched, as well as the incredible taste and smells that come with it.
Wine Tasting Sessions
Following the success in 2022, Woodthorpe Wines are back!
The session host Matthew has been “submerged” in wine for the last 15 years. Travelling, tasting and working with the fine liquid to gain a vast understanding and more importantly enjoyment from the most delicious juice there is.
Live Music
The one thing any festival needs is live music – and we pride ourselves on welcoming some amazing musicians to play at the Festival of Food & Drink.
From former X-Factor finalists to local bands and soloists, these often acoustic performers truly get you in the festival mood so make sure you keep your voice suitably lubricated because they guarantee to get you singing along.
Street Food & Bars
One of the biggest innovations in eating over the past few years has been the boom of Street Food and Bar vendors, bringing exciting flavours from around the world to the UK.
