This vibrant Festival of Food & Drink offers a range of fabulous street food and artisan food producers, award winning food and drink, special guest TV chefs, gorgeous gifts, crafts and homewares, delicious dishes and cuisine from around the world served by fantastic Street Food and pop-up cafes and bars!

Beautiful Things

We all love ‘beautiful things’ be it food, wine, clothes, jewellery, or items around the home.

Our ‘Beautiful Things’ marquee offers a gorgeous range of gifts and crafts from UK designer makers along with hand crafted jewellery and accessories, gorgeous gifts and lovely homeware.  

TV Chef Cookery Theatre

The 500 seated Cookery Theatre which is accessible to all ticket holders will once again host a fantastic line-up of TV Chefs. Taking to the stage on Sunday 22nd September will be two Great British Bake-Off stars from the 2023 series; winner Matty Edgell and runner-up Josh Smalley, and if that weren’t enough to get your festival juices flowing, best-selling cookery writer Rachel Allen will be sharing some of her wonderful recipes. The full cookery theatre schedules will be announced closer to the date.

Cocktail Making Sessions

Immerse yourself in the alchemy of cocktail creation as George, an expert mixologist and Co-Founder of multi-award winning Cocktails At Home, unveils the secrets behind the timeless Mojito and their signature Pink Lady. Through hands-on experience, you’ll master the art of muddling, churning, mixing, shaking, pouring, and garnishing – transforming ordinary ingredients into extraordinary drinks.

Coffee Tasting & Brewing Sessions

Cartwheel Coffee is an independent coffee roastery and set of cafes based in Nottingham. They have been sourcing and roasting ethical, high-quality coffee since 2016, with a big focus on flavour!

At this 45 minute workshop, take a deep dive into the journey of coffee, from farm to cup, and discover how this impacts the flavour of your brew. Experience how coffee from Ethiopia tastes different to coffee from Colombia, and drink all the coffee your heart desires!

Cookery School for Kids

We are delighted to announce Cookery School for Kids 2024 sessions can be booked on the day for just £2 – with places allocated on a first come, first served basis – make sure you arrive early and get booked in straight away. Children taking part must be 6 years or over.

Food & Drink Traders

Festival of Food and Drink boasts one of the biggest gatherings of quality food and drink retailers in the region. This year we had over 160, offering award winning food, drink, street-food, gift, craft, homewares, and treats. With a fantastic range available, the shopping choices are yours! See, try and buy!

New for 2024 – Introducing ‘Flavour Town Fire Stage’ – take your BBQ to the next level!

Presented by LumberjAxe Food Company a premium producer of seasonings and sauces within the BBQ industry. Offering demonstrations throughout the weekend – join them as they fire up the festival and offer some tastings too!

LumberJaxe Food Company born from a passion of good food, barbeque, and grilling by 2 brothers from Birmingham.

Wine Tasting Sessions

Get ready for an epic wine adventure with specialist wine-tasting company Taste First who will be uncorking up to six delightful wines, ranging from lighter and fruity selections hailing from the picturesque vineyards of Georgia and Romania to classics from Italy and France. There may also be some wines from further afield such as Chile, the USA, or Australia.
 

Nottingham-based Taste First are on a mission to make wine tastings a celebration where you can have fun, relax and enjoy different wines as you sip, swirl and discover new favourites.

Live Music

The one thing any festival needs is live music – and we pride ourselves on welcoming some amazing musicians to play at the Festival of Food & Drink.

From former X-Factor finalists to local bands and soloists, these often acoustic performers truly get you in the festival mood so make sure you keep your voice suitably lubricated because they guarantee to get you singing along. 

Street Food & Bars

One of the biggest innovations in eating over the past few years has been the boom of Street Food and Bar vendors, bringing exciting flavours from around the world to the UK.
