For 2023, we are delighted to see the return of Lee-Anna Rennie-Johnson, also known as the Dairy Maid who teaches at The School of Artisan Food on the beautiful Welbeck Estate. Lee-Anna has worked in the dairy industry for 15 years. Wanting to know more about the cheese itself led her to The School of Artisan Food where she trained as a cheese maker before working for the school managing and teaching the dairy courses, whilst also taking care of her own herd of dairy goats. She now runs a dairy consultancy looking after all elements of cheesemaking, artisan production & retail. When not in the dairy she can be found relaxing with her family in the Worcestershire countryside. Lee-Anna will offer Ice-Cream Making, Cheese Making and Butter making daily at the festival.
For 2023 also introducing Viki owner of Twiddle Food based in Sheffield, a mum of two girls and a self-taught chef. (Also, a manager of a large team at a global law firm – part time, Twiddle is her passion child) She grew up in Hungary and so likes to add a Hungarian twist to her recipes. Twiddle was born in 2019 as a result of having a very fussy child. To improve her daughter’s diet, she not only made everything from scratch but started to learn more about nutrition and tried many different techniques to get her daughter to eat better. Seeing her appetite growing while enjoying cooking and baking with her in the kitchen, it gave me Viki the idea to teach children and help other families too. Viki will offer Chocolate Biscuit Rolls, Gnocchi Making and Pasta Making.
We are following COVID measures and will be working in a well ventilated marquee. We ask everyone to follow guidance and respect social distancing.
