Natural Dying Crafts with Rhubarb Farm

New for 2023! We’ve teamed up with local Rhubarb Farm to bring the ancient art of natural dying crafts to this year’s event.

Suitable for children of all ages (and adults can have a go!), this fun activity connects you to nature in a creative and mindful way.

Using plants grown at Rhubarb Farm such as Marigolds, Cosmos and Cornflowers, and more traditional varieties like Woad, Gypsophila and many more you will learn about the colourful, unique and pollinator friendly plants and take a memorable piece of artwork home to cherish.

This activity has been designed by Rhubarb Farm’s Mental Health Worker and POV (Young person art project) lead and is a creative, mindful experience involving their farm-grown flowers. Staff from the Farm will be on hand to give you more insight and information into what the farm is about and why they do what they do.
